Our 2009-2010 talk line-up is still in development, and we will post further details on the talks as they become available. Note that there will not be a talk in October 2009, due to the Land Use, Transportation & Air Quality workshop (see below), and there will not be a talk in February 2010 due to the Winter Olympics.

Environmental Professionals Mixer - November 26, 2009

The BC & Yukon Chapter are holding an Environmental Professionals Mixer starting at 5:30PM on November 26, 2009 at the Elephant and Castle in downtown Vancouver. The goal of the event is to provide an opportunity for future, young, and seasoned environmental professionals to mingle in a casual environment. Land Use, Transportation & Air Quality: Making Healthier Decisions - October 27, 2009

Hilton Vancouver Metrotown, Burnaby, BC

The A&WMA BC & Yukon Chapter, BC Lung Association, Fraser Basin Council and several other partners were proud to host this workshop. It was designed to facilitate an ongoing, active dialogue between municipal and regional planners, transportation engineers, health experts, air quality professionals and decision-makers and foster effective collaboration and the implementation of healthier, air quality-friendly decisions.
