Since 1992, BP Exploration (Alaska), Inc. (BPXA) has sponsored a series of seminars designed to familiarize agency personnel and others with the technical and operational aspects of Alaska's North Slope oil and gas industry.  The next seminar has been scheduled for September 22, 2003 to coincide with the PNWIS 2003 Conference. 

You are invited to nominate candidates (including yourself), if you plan to attend the PNWIS Conference. Please email your nominations for the seminar (include phone number and email address) to Riki Lebman by Friday, August 29.  We will contact each nominee by September 5 to confirm participation.

A team of geologists, petroleum engineers, reservoir engineers, facility managers, environmental engineers and scientists with North Slope experience will lead the seminar.  Space is limited to 25 participants and if there is insufficient response, the seminar will be cancelled.   Rooms may be available for the night of September 21 at the nearby (walking-distance) Marriott Residence Inn at a preferred BP rate.  Call Donna at Carlson Wagonlit Travel at (907) 564-5287 for details.
