PNWIS is back in Alaska!
Please join us for the 48th annual conference of the Air & Waste Management Association's Pacific Northwest International Section in Anchorage, Alaska. If you are an environmental professional working in the Pacific Northwest, you need to be at this conference.
PNWIS 2008 is scheduled for Wednesday, September 24 through Friday, September 26, 2008 at the Sheraton Hotel in Downtown Anchorage. An all-day, pre-conference, professional development session, tentatively titled “Recent Developments in Combustion Ignition and Spark Ignition Reciprocating Engine Emissions Technology” will be held on Tuesday, September 23. A Call for Papers has been posted, as has a general conference schedule and information regarding conference, hotel, and exhibitor registration. A specific technical session schedule and other items of interest will follow over the next month.
Please note that you will be attending the PNWIS 2008 Annual Conference when reserving your room at the Sheraton to obtain the special conference rate of $139 for a standard room or $169 for a Club-level room.
(Government Rate is $99 per night. If you are using the government rate please let the reservations people know you are with PNWIS so we get credit toward our meeting minimum room usage for the good meeting room rental rate)
