PNWIS 2009: Sharpening Our Environmental Focus in a Challenging Economy
The Puget Sound Chapter of the Pacific Northwest International Section (PNWIS) of the Air & Waste Management Association is proud to host the Annual PNWIS Conference at Suncadia Resort near Cle Elum, Washington. Nov 3-6, 2009.
Suncadia Resort is only 80 miles east of Seattle, WA on I-90. The Suncadia Resort offers incredible amenities including a full service conference facility, hiking trails, a spa, a swim and fitness center, and a world class golf course.

Conference Theme
The theme for PNWIS 2009 is Sharpening our Environmental Focus in a Challenging Economy. PNWIS 2009 will span four days from November 3-6 and will consist of professional development training opportunities, several streams of technical papers, exhibitors displays, and the student Environmental Challenge.  
The professional development course will include a "Greenhouse Gases and Climate Change" course taught by Dr. Brian Doyle. The technical sessions will cover air and waste management topics about restoring, preserving and protecting the environment, while recognizing today's economic challenges.
A Title 5 Workshop, exclusively for U.S. local, state, and federal regulators will also be offered for free on November 3-4. See the program page for more details.
