This year's Plenary Session will feature an international group of panelists
who have been invited to present their perspectives on the various aspects of
the conference theme, "Environmental Management: Managing the Environment or
Managing the Impacts". The panelists have been asked to speak to health issues,
socio-economic issues, regulatory issues and public concerns as they relate to
inhalable and fine particulate, a controversial yet timely issue. The
presentations and subsequent discussions promise to be both provocative and
lively. All conference attendees are encourage to participate in the Plenary
Session which should set a positive tone for the balance of the technical
sessions in the meeting.
