EPA webinar — Use of prognostic met data for NSR permitting

The EPA will be presenting an informational webinar regarding the use of prognostic meteorological data for NSR permitting modeling, specifically the EPA’s Mesoscale Model InterFace (MMIF) tool. The webinar has been scheduled for Tuesday, March 21st, 2017 from 10am to 11am PDT. The EPA will discuss revisions to Appendix W regarding use of prognostic data, MMIF development, guidance for use, and an overview of an evaluation in dispersion modeling applications. The webinar will also outline the current method the EPA is using to deploy the National (lower 48 states) 12km 3-year WRF-MMIF data to the state, local, and tribal air agencies.
