This Webinar will outline the essential elements of developing a comprehensive and compliant Risk Management Plan. The RMP Rule implements Section 112(r) of the 1990 Clean Air Act amendments and requires facilities that use extremely hazardous substances to develop a meaningful Plan. Required to be revised and resubmitted to EPA every five years, these plans must include critical information from facilities that assists local fire, police, and emergency response personnel prepare for and respond to chemical emergencies. A well-written RMP will improve accident prevention and emergency response practices at the plant and at local agencies.
