Weighing in at 276 pages and covering 11 subcategories of boilers and process heaters, the regulations are complex and far-reaching. The Boiler MACT rules governing emissions of mercury, particulate matter, hydrogen chloride and carbon monoxide from boilers nationwide will effect operations across industries.
To help businesses and regulators prepare, the A&WMA and AIChE have joined forces to create a 90-minute Boiler MACT national webinar. The national webinar will be followed by a local panel that will discuss local impacts. The webinar session will give you the facts and help you plan how you move into compliance by the target dates. It features a panel of leading national experts:
- David L. Mahler, P.E., of Zephyr Environmental Corp — Representing the industrial perspective
- Brian Shrager from the EPA’s Energy Strategies Group — Offering EPA’s first extended public comment
- Moderated by Dr. Richard Siegel or R & B Consulting Services
The national webinar will be followed by a local panel that will include
- Eric Albright of ENVIRON Corp
- Lyn Tober of Northwest Clean Air Agency
- Moderated by Jay Willenberg of CH2MHILL
